The 44th edition of the Baja 500 off road race took place with great success and a big number of visitors. Hotel Coral and Marina hosted several pilots at its facilities like Gustavo Vildósola, Andy McMillin, Terrible Herbst, BJ Baldwin, Jesse Jones, Bryce Menzies, among others.

Another great experienced in Baja California that we want to share with you is whale watching. Across the peninsula, from Ensenada to Los Cabos, Baja California Sur you can find many spots to experience this activity.

From November 17^th to 20^th the 2011 SCORE Baja 1000 was held in Ensenada, Baja California. Last Thursday, November 17^th 278 racers from Mexico, USA, Australia, Canada, Chile, Germany, Italy, Japan, Denmark, among others participated in the technical inspection and got ready for the race; hundreds of fans went to admire the all terrain vehicles and to watch their favorite drivers.

There are different ways to explore Baja California, one of them is by sea, making stops in different destinations and enjoying what these places offer us; this is exactly what the FUBAR Odyssey participants experience, part of their activities in their journey are dinners cooked by the locals, parties, fishing trips and good moments to relax in Baja California.

A well-known and antique tradition that comes from the old civilizations of Mexico is the Day of the Dead. In this tradition we celebrate the return of dead family members in spirit form. Taking place on November 1^st and 2^nd the first day is dedicated for the reception of children or as they are called “Angelitos” (Little Angels) and the second day for the reception of the adults.

For any one that enjoys to practice extreme sports, we want to share information about an activity that is held in October in the city of Ensenada: the MTB Baja Ultra Endurance. This is a race that offers a 100km journey between traces of trails, roads, villages, endless and dizzying climbs that will test the ability of all the mountain bikers who decided to participate in this race.

We lived a spectacular night last Saturday October 1st at our facilities with Emmanuel’s concert and his show Retro. Music from an excellent performer, delicious food, a beautiful view and an awesome environment made the perfect mix to enjoy this expected spectacle.

We want to tell you more about what the Boulevard Costero offers; now in this post we are going to talk about “El Malecón” (The Boardwalk) a place that gives us a beautiful view of the bay.

From September 22^nd – 25^th the event “Baja Sea Food Expo” will be holding in Ensenada. It is prepared to promote the sea products and their consumption and it is organized under the supervision of the Baja Sea Food Expo A. C. integrated by groups from the fishing economic chain that goes from its production until it is placed on a prepared dish.

This is a special month for Mexican Nationals; September is the month when we celebrate the Independence of our country that is why we want to talk about a place that almost everyone in Ensenada visits but not everyone knows its name, we are referring to “Plaza de la Patria” or better known as “Las Tres Cabezas” (The Three Heads).
