“La Bufadora”

A place that definitely you cannot miss in your visit to Ensenada is “La Bufadora” a marine geyser located at the south of the city just 8 miles away in the end of Punta Banda; this is just one of the few that exist in the world, among others in Australia, Tahiti, Japan and Hawaii. The experience this tourist destination offers in Mexico starts from undertake the journal to get there, the highway offers you beautiful views of Todos Santos Bay and beaches as well as the also called Todos Santos Island.

The scientific explanation is simple, an invader wave from ocean crashes with air making a pumping action under the cave caused by the strength of the coming and going waters inside a tunnel like entrance. The trapped air and water blows up under the cave 80 feet high over the sea trough the only way out.
